         Youth Outreach Director

          North Sewickley Presbyterian Church

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 10-20 hours per week.  $11.00/hour.

• To lead the two existing after-school programs with volunteers already in place and new recruits. 

• Encourage Sr. Hi Outreach Events (building to weekly) 

• Organize, promote, staff and lead 1-2 Community Outreach events monthly. 

• Director may be one of the Sunday night Youth Group Leaders.

• No set office hours, planning can be done from home.  Time spent is considered billable hours.

• Create Monthly Youth newsletter

• Attend Summers Best 2 Weeks meetings throughout the year and organize and direct the camp in the summer.

• Attend Monthly meetings of the Youth Council which is chaired by the "Flock Tender" Elders. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Strong Christian faith and desire to share that faith with the Youth in the North Sewickley area

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but past experience and training considered.
